What I Learned From Eating One Meal a Day
When I first heard about one meal a day, it sounded unrealistic.
How could eating once per day possibly feel sustainable?
But over time, I discovered something unexpected.
It simplified my life.
Less Noise, More Clarity
Before fasting, I spent a surprising amount of time thinking about food.
- What to eat
- When to eat
- What snack to have
- Whether I was hungry or bored
One meal a day reduced that mental noise.
It gave me structure.
It gave me discipline.
The Hard Days Were Important Too
Not every day felt easy.
There were:
- cravings
- frustration
- moments of doubt
- social pressure
But those difficult moments were part of the process.
Discipline grows through repetition.
Motivation starts the journey. Discipline sustains it.
A Better Relationship With Food
Over time, I stopped seeing food as constant entertainment.
I became more intentional.
More grateful.
More aware.
And that changed far more than my weight.
